Every OUTSPOKEN hide is assigned a collectible number in a limited-edition series. This number and other information about the hide is permanently affixed to the back of the hide leather. Your specific number will be assigned during production and is guaranteed to be in the range shown above. The combination of unique hide, Be OUTSPOKEN artwork design and your trim selection create a one-of-a-kind product that can never be repeated nor owned by another.

Please select from many possible colours and styles of trim or bullion fringe using the samples and colour swatches shown above. We would be happy to help you choose a colour – just send us a note! We also offer the option for a custom fringe not available from our options, if you have something in mind. We’ll work with you, at an incremental cost, to research other trims or use one you provide to us. We want to help you create exactly what is most beautiful in your home or business!

We have periodic production runs every few months which is why we typically ship within 6-10 weeks after your order is placed. The creation of your hide and artwork is an extremely labor intensive process with more than twenty steps and many layers of colour. It takes several days from start to finish and approximately 25 hours of handcrafted investment. After your hide is complete, we will be happy to provide several photographs for your approval before we apply your trim and ship to you.

You will have the opportunity to view several photographs of your finished hide with artwork before shipment. If you are not satisfied you may cancel your order for a full refund. Also, after you receive your hide, you may return it, undamaged, within 30 days for a full refund.

Each hide artwork is carefully hand coated with a UV-resistant protective layer in a mild gloss. This coating offers enhanced protection from colour fading due to sunlight over time, good resistance to the abrasion of normal foot traffic, and also deepens the colour vibrancy of the artwork.

We carefully hand-select our hides from Brazil based on quality, colour and appearance, however it is a product of nature and may have small marks or brands. We are happy to provide more details upon request. The hides exemplify our love of natural beauty and organic uniqueness. Your artwork will exhibit small variations in colours or brush strokes. Our desire is to to produce an incredible statement piece while keeping the environment in mind, with no waste since each hide is a by-product of the food industry.

Be OUTSPOKEN hides and artwork are intended to be walked on, and they are durable…surprisingly so. Our product development team has spent nearly two years in R&D to determine the best materials, pigments, printing & painting techniques and post-production coverings that will keep your graphics looking bright and strong for years. Our colours and sealers have been specially formulated by one of the top pigment companies in Italy and they lay down on the natural hides in many layers, resulting in a rich, thick covering of colours over the hair surface. Our graphics process involves over 20 unique steps, all designed to maximize beauty, vividness and durability. Our special UV and abrasion resistant semi-gloss covering further protects the layers of pigments.

While we do not recommend permanent placement in a location that receives strong direct sunlight for several hours per day, the colours should withstand some daily sunlight exposure for years without substantial fading. Normal foot traffic should be expected and welcomed. However, owners should take some care to protect the valuable artwork from abuse. For more details, please see our Care Instructions. Please contact us if your hide or graphic artwork is damaged. In some cases we can repair the damage for a reasonable cost, or even for free.

For normal cleaning, we recommend an Evercare Mega Roller or the equivalent, similar to a clothing lint brush roller. For small spills or accidents, a damp (not wet) cloth can usually fully clean the hide or artwork area. We do not recommend the use of a vacuum for cleaning, and under no circumstances should an abrasive vacuum brush roller be utilized.

Every hide and its artwork and trim are warranted for 2 years although we have designed the product to last for far longer under normal use and care. If evidence of problems in materials or workmanship appears during your first 24 months of ownership, please return the hide to us and we will repair or replace your product or issue a full refund.
